Summary
This story takes place after the events of season 5, during the group’s final year of high school.
At the start of the new school year at Hawkins High, the harassment against Dustin is much less severe, mainly due to Andy’s departure.
However, one of the basketball team players, Chance, had repeated his final year. Now that his “friends” are gone, he is much kinder than before, and that is something that catches Will’s attention.The Byers had moved into Hopper’s cabin the previous summer. Will had inherited Eleven’s bedroom, while Jonathan was away at college. Will had kept a photo of Eleven on his nightstand. It had been ten months since she disappeared, yet Will was still deeply saddened by the loss of the only sister he had ever had.
