Summary
After Aziraphale left to become supreme archangel, Crowley is still picking up the pieces of his miserable life nearly a year later. He spends his months in limbo, living out of his car and going to the dreaded bookshop once a month to see if Muriel's heard anything from Heaven. Eventually, he decides it's time to return to his flat and move on with his existence.
He's just about to begin sorting his life out when a familiar angel shows up at his door with a baby in his arms, begging for help.
How's a demon supposed to say no?

"I don't want to go." Crowley twisted around in his Queen-sized bed, watching as Aziraphale set the slightly battered copy of Sense and Sensibility onto the bedside cabinet.
"Well that's certainly not it."
"I'm serious, angel. I don't want to go."
"I know, my dear," Aziraphale said, the tip of his fingers ghosting over Crowley's cheek, who fought the urge to shut his eyes. "But it's only a month. It'll pass in the blink of an eye—"
Crowley, a young Prince, and Aziraphale, his servant, have been best friends their entire lives, but naturally, a relationship between a Prince and his servant is rather frowned upon by royalty. When Crowley is sent to the neighbouring kingdom a month after his twenty-first birthday to court a Princess, the comfortable and fragile relationship he'd had with Aziraphale is thrown into a state of disarray, and they are forced to confront their true feelings for each other, risking it all for love.
