When Henry dies, Sam, now a lawyer, returns to Kansas for his funeral.To his surprise, Henry’s will entrusts Sam with the guardianship of a magical box passed down in the Winchester family for generations; a box that talks to Sam and reveals it has a living being caged inside it.
When the Men of Letters and a group of demons begin hunting Sam in order to take the box, he and his brother go on the run to avoid them, while Sam gets to know the being for whom he has inadvertently become jailkeeper, and begins to feel conflicted.

Summary
I'm planning on adding an Adam-centric one-shot to this verse, but I don't have any sort of timeline for when it will be up.
There may be one-shots for Raphael and Gabriel as well but we'll see- I'm a bit nervous about messing them up.
Another problem is... I don't ship Samifer anymore, and it's actually become kind of impossible for me to write. So there definitely won't be a sequel to the Samifer part of this. Sorry. But I won't rule out the non-shipping sequels.

His mother, Marika, founder and CEO of notorious national monopoly Gold & Order, has been missing since a week after his funeral. Her five—er, seven—remaining children and stepchildren have all received sizable shares of ownership in her company, as has Dr. Rennala Caria of Raya Lucaria Enterprises, whose ex-husband Radagon, the COO of G & O, left her his own share before going missing himself.
Ranni, current acting CEO of a newly split-off R.L.E., is used to lying, scheming, blackmailing, and gaslighting, but the past year and a half has been a lot even for her. At least she has her brother Rykard to lean on, even if he’s distressingly convinced that the worst of everything is behind them.
On a completely unrelated note, the headlining act for this week’s show at the Moonlight Altar is apparently supposed to be some foreign synth rock collab called Survivors of the Abyss.
(I promise you don't have to read the really long Godwyn/Fortissax fic to understand this one!)
