Summary
Firefighter Buck’s life seems stable on the surface, but cracks are forming beneath the facade. Summary
Bruce doesn’t think of himself as a horrible person. He knows he’s not perfect, but he tries at least. And he likes to believe that has to count for something. He loves his kids, his partner, and the man who raised him more than he knows how to say. That’s the problem, really. He just doesn’t know how to express it in a way they understand.

Bruce is de-aged into that of a child and his kids are there to clean up after him in the most literal of sense. With every layer they peel back of their father figure, their mentor, the more questions they need answered; most pressingly, did this kid not get therapy?

Summary
He could smell the ocean, feel the sun shining on his face. They were at the beach. Finally a proper date, just like Edwin deserved.
Thomas opened his eyes to see the ghost looking at him with the brightest smile. Edwin framed his face, “There you are.” His thumb swiped over Thomas' cheekbone.
“Here I am,” Thomas murmured, eyes taking in every inch of the face in front of him. He covered the hand on his cheek and brought it to his lips. He landed a kiss to Edwin’s palm, then to the inside of his wrist. Then he nuzzled his cheek into the ghost’s palm again. “I missed you.”
