Summary
When Peter was twelve he saw a national manhunt on the news for a boy his age, Percy Jackson.
A year later, they become neighbors and he meets the other boy. They strike up a friendship. A few years after that, Peter becomes Spider-Man. Superpowers can't stop his friend from vanishing unexpectedly though.or
They are sixteen, it is just barely still summer, and Percy is back not long after the Sleep Incident, looking… good, there’s this lightness to him.
Percy and Peter start hanging out more, since their summer is rapidly coming to an end. Percy had decided to try and teach his shy neighbor to skateboard and it went pretty terribly.
Peter starts to trust Percy, starts to seek him out (even contemplates telling him about Spidey).
And then Percy is gone.
and he stays gone.
It’s been over a year but Peter would recognize him anywhere. Percy Jackson is standing there knocking at his mother’s door.
Like it hasn't been almost two years.

Being creative is practically a requirement of being a demigod. If you aren’t creative, you don’t usually tend to live that long.
Back in the seventies, a society was formed. Crafted by year-rounders that found themselves missing out on the mundane, they sought to fix that.
Okay, clarification, there were several “societies” started in the seventies by various campers, the most infamous being the Disco Society. However, that ‘society’ died with disco.
This one is one of the only ones that remains to this day.

Beacon Hills, California was quite literally a beacon for supernatural creatures and hunters alike, but what about the regular humans that lived there? The people who went about their lives with no knowledge of the supernatural? The people who didn't get real explanations every time someone was viciously mauled by a 'mountain lion' or little girls who'd died in car accidents stumbled out of the woods after 8 years? Or when multitudes of alleged bounty hunters started targeting local high schoolers? Hell, what were the regular teens doing while the teenage werewolves were running around causing and solving supernatural problems? How was the ordinary human supposed to sleep at night, knowing there was something not quite right about their town, but the truth was just out of reach?
This is the collected memories of one such resident, her accounts of being a mostly-typical Beacon Hills teenager. Walking a thin line between the normal and monstrous worlds without knowing, just as a majority of the town's population did for a good number of years.

Summary

Hey all, this fic is not abandoned! I have long COVID, and I have been pretty sick for months now. BUT, I have been working on my fic again and will upload more soonish. I made a decision to write until the end of this "book" which will take us up to just before Hogwarts. This puts me under less pressure with updates while im sick. I am getting through it and once its finished I will release the chapters regularly. Thanks for your patience! P.s if you see me changing the pov and tense chp by chp no you don't -
