"I greatly overestimated how cold Camelot winters were. Again." This earned Arthur a small chuckle from Lancelot, his mouth curving into a wistful smile. Letting Arthur's hand go, he instead reaches up to cradle the far side of his blue head, guiding him close to plant a kiss on his cheek. Arthur happily obliged, leaning down to allow Lancelot full access to his face. "Well, what do you think? Was this spot worth all the hassle?"
"Anything that you show great enthusiasm in is worth the hassle," Lancelot hummed, rubbing his cheek against the blue hedgehog.

“Chaos, you’re beautiful,” he hums, paws settling in her chest fur. Shadow only responds with a tiny smile tugging at her mouth, her own paws moving from Sonic’s cheeks to his back, claws combing through the mess of blue spine quills. Something flickers in his eyes. Shadow smiles, a breathless laugh trickling from his maw.
“You barge into my room, give me soup, get under the blankets with me, start cuddling me and now you ask to see my paws?” Shadow hums, tilting his head down so their noses touch. Quietly, he slides his hand out from Sonic’s. Pulling away from the blue menace’s forehead, he takes off one glove, then two, dumping them both on Sonic's face. He huffs and throws them to the bedside table, ears fluttering up and face burning as Shadow replaces the hand on his cheek. He slides one ungloved paw behind Sonic's ears, using his claws to delicately scratch.OR

He quirks an eyebrow at his offer.

Shadow narrows his eyes, moreso is suspicious than anything else. "What could you possibly need it for?"
Sonic shrugs. "Looks comfortable."
"Then buy your own."
Sonic's casual demeanour changes to a smirk. "That wouldn't be as fun, then. C'mon, just one race. I'll betcha I'll even look better in it."
Well, if that's what he wants, it's a bet he won't let Sonic win.
