rubbing his eye's and collecting himself he grabbed his sword from the leather sling he sometimes forgot was strapped to him—even forgetting it at his base by accident—taking a swing at the spider and missing.
Branzy blinked this might actually be the deadliest spider the spider bit at Branzy causing him to yelp and stumble back.

The logical part of Gris’ mind supplies the important piece of information; Enjin is drunk. He’s always drunk when he turns up at Gris’ door, clothes hanging from him as though he can’t get them off quick enough, body slumped in the doorframe, mouth slanted, and voice mumbling from the copious amount of alcohol Enjin’s drunk that night.
No matter how many times Enjin professes he can hold his own, Gris, and the other cleaners know he’s the lightest of light weights to ever exist on the Ground.
And Gris should push him away. Should walk Enjin to bed and tell him to sleep it off. Should tell Enjin he’s drunk and not sound of mind.
But he doesn’t.
He never does.
Enjin only ever seems to be interested in Gris when he's been drinking and Gris knows he'll always wake up to an empty bed.
Always.
Until he doesn't.

He practically raised Megumi and his sister and was always there when they needed him. Meugmi is slow to trust and love, but holds his family and his two best friends very close to his chest. But now, at the beginning of his sophomore year of high school, Tsumiki has gone away to college and his conflicting emotions about one of his friends have thrown him for a loop. But still, Gojo is there. He doesn't leave and remains an ever constant persence in Megumi's life, which he is eternally grateful for. But sometimes, it's not enough to silence the voices in his head, however much Gojo tries.
