Summary
Pearl is a journalist, or at least, she was.
She still tries to keep her voice notes up to date though.It's been a bit since the apocalypse first broke out, but Pearl's still no closer to finding the cause of the infection, or figuring out what happened to her friends and family. She's all alone, until one day, while exploring the debris surrounding her apartment, she stumbles across someone she's met before. Someone who might have the answers she needs.

Summary
The figure is small, with large black wings littered with eyes and glowing purple around the edges of their figure--a Watcher. But Mumbo watches as the figure seems to change before his eyes. As they fall the darkness seems to drain out of them, until all that remains is a seemingly normal avian plummeting through the sky. Their hair is pale brown, their wings banded red, blue, and yellow.
Wait. Mumbo knows those wings.
Grian has been missing, assumed dead, for years. Mumbo isn't okay, but he's learned to keep going. Imagine his surprise when Grian falls right back into his life, literally.
