“Why hello there your majesty.” Oikawa greeted, his eyes half lidded. “What a nice party you have here. Nobles… Royals… even the three scrapyard fairies.” He casually strolled forward, unbothered by the hush that had fallen over the room.
“You know…” Oikawa continued, coming to stop in front of the royal family and the fairies. “I was really quiet… distressed when I didn't receive an invitation.”
“You weren't wanted!” Kageyama bristled.
“Weren't wanted?” Oikawa’s eyes lost their playful edge, replaced with cold hard fury. “How awkward. Perhaps I should be going then.” He spoke through gritted teeth.

Akiyama Umeko was a third year student at Shiratorizawa with one goal, to make one thousand paper cranes. This was her last year and she wanted to complete her goal.
Umeko didn't really have much interest in anything other than the creative arts so it was only natural she didn't know much about volleyball. She had no reason to go to the gym, no reason to talk to the members of the club and certainly no reason to meet the captain of the team.
However, a series of totally unplanned cliche events changed that.
