Izuku was a bright and curious child, always wondering why things worked the way they did, and how things happened the way they did. Even with his teachers and classmates and peers humiliating and mocking him for his endless supply of questions, Izuku never stopped asking why, and he never stopped searching for those answers.
Now, Izuku is in U.A., and his teachers aren’t phased with how many questions he asks; Nezu is even delighted that Izuku’s always asking so many questions. So, everytime Eri asks Izuku something, he always answers her, even if the questions make him pause or think a little bit, merely thinking that “no one answered questions for me as a kid, so I’ll do it for her”.
It’s not until Izuku asks Eri a question that the meaning is changed.

During a strange encounter Alex gets a hold of a dusty unassuming pot and adds it to their hoard, never thinking anything of it.
Five hundred miles away Morgan can sense the second their magic lamp has been found and claimed. Now Morgan, who is secretly a genie, has a new mysterious master out there in the world who could claim their three wishes at any time they desire. If only Alex knew about them.
Less than a year later Alex unwittingly meets their genie through an unrelated event, and as far as they're concerned Morgan is just a low tier villain who loves puzzles and heists too much. Morgan knows better, but their initial concern of having the S tier as their Master fades as more time passes and Alex never claims his wishes. Morgan eventually works out that Alex must not know. Well, Morgan's gotten used to Alex's influence at this point, and while Alex's wishes are unclaimed no one else can claim Morgan for more wishes. So really they're in their safest position right now. As long as Alex never figures out who or what Morgan really is.

She learned this very late after her parental instincts led her across the school, and she heard cries and could smell blood from the gender-neutral bathroom in the management wing of the school.
