A loud groan emits from the smallest bedroom in Joker’s apartment. Making Harley sigh, she thought Joker and Batman were going well! They’ve been fighting non-stop for the past few months. Joker hasn’t had any time to spend with Harley and Ivy because of it. He missed the day where they were supposed to hang out and have a sleepover!
But it seems like they argued again, judging by Joker’s silence all day.

"What was that for?"
James shrugged. "I dunno... Just- thanks, I guess."
"For what?"
"Everything. I mean," he began fiddling with the sleeves of his jacket, "you're always doing so much for me, and you're always there for me whenever I need someone to talk to, or just keep me company, and, like... God, what did I ever do to deserve you?"
"You don't have to do anything. I'm always going to be here for you no matter what."
"Exactly. That's what I'm talking about. You're the one person who I'd be able to trust with anything. So.. Thanks for that, I guess." He grabbed his bike by the handles and hopped on, the tips of his shoes just barely reaching the ground to keep him upright on his too-big bike.
Thomas smiled softly, "Anytime."
"By the way," James ventured, a slight smile settling into his features, "it was a seven. The roll."
"What?" Thomas asked, his mind taking a minute to process what that possibly meant.
"The Demogorgon," James said, "it got me."By the way, some of the plot points from seasons one and two are mixed together, but there will be two parts to this fic.
