"I must go back. Whether it is God’s wrath for the wrong I have done, I do not know; but I am drawn back to him through every suffering and ill usage; and I should be, I believe, if I knew that I was to die by his hand at last."
An exploration of Bill and Nancy, set shortly before the events of Oliver Twist.

Summary
It wasn't fair. Charlie didn't ask to be one of them. Even his daughter marrying into a family of vampires couldn't have prepared him for the unpleasantness of monster-hood. After a year away, he finally returns to Forks. Though he isn't quite ready to face Bella, he finds comfort elsewhere...
//In which I explore my own heartbreak for Charlie, the sanest in the series.

Summary
Growing up with powers is hardly glamorous when you're not destined for greatness. Mutant Maggie Addams had long since given up the childish dream of being swept up by the X-Men or even the Avengers. Everything changes when she lands in some unexpected trouble, and her mundane life is left in the dust. Her path is paved with villains and heroes as she struggles to find her place in a world full of supers.
(Begins following the events of Civil War; uses the MCU timeline, but with plots from the comics woven in. Because I like to be canon to the comics and movies, sue me for nerdiness.)
