What if the Malfoys had a daughter instead of a son?
This story starts in fourth year right before the Yule Ball. Harry is incredibly stressed out because he's a Triwizard champion and he still can't find a date to the dance. To make things worse, Lyra Malfoy won't stop annoying him and making fun of his misery.
The story follows the canon timeline pretty closely, but with Lyra in the mix instead of Draco. It's a pure enemies-to-lovers story that slowly builds up their relationship over time.
Note: I'm trying hard to write this realistically and not make any characters pure villains like some stories do. It's a middle ground with deeper characters.Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter.

Instead, Draco said quietly, "I can help with that."
Harry's head snapped up. "What?"
"You heard me." Draco moved closer, and there was something different in the way Malfoy moved, something Harry's brain couldn't quite process. "Pity sex, Potter. One last mercy before you go play martyr."

Draco trashed forward and the tentacles responded, pulling his arms and legs together. Draco's nightgown fell, covering his most private part. Draco's body jerked and Harry glanced to see on of tentacles had find its way under the fabric, stirring on the blond's chest. Both Draco's nipples were already hard, the tentacles twisted around it.
Harry swallowed and looked back at Draco. The blond was flushed deeply, his eyes glossy, and only a small trace of anger could be seen.

As they grow up, the two brothers will face a myriad of challenges as the world pushes back against their relationship, and it will only get worse as Harry gets older. Thankfully, he has his brother and his friends to help protect him, and perhaps he and Draco would find that their friendship is something completely more.
