Lucifer wasn’t really accustomed to being physically trapped in one place. He was trapped in hell sure but that was quite large. Trapped in the castle— slightly smaller but he had the freedom to move and really he could leave at any time, he just didn’t want to. But this machine? This box? It was very spherical, could it be counted as a box? Whatever it was, Lucifer didn’t like it.
He really didn’t like how his arms were starting to become numb either.

(This is what I’d love to see happen in episode 7, especially after reading that theory going around about Alastor being Lucifer’s Executioner. Major season 2 spoilers ahead!)

Standing up, he considered his options. For good measure, before attempting anything else, he poked the body with his staff—no reaction. Then he kicked him a few times, harder than he’d admit. Nothing.

Or not. Though the thought of killing the unconscious angel was tempting, he knew it wouldn't benefit him in the long run. If anything, Lucifer was more useful alive than dead.

It was common knowledge that you received your mark when you turned twelve. I mean, honestly, anyone who didn't know that had to have been a lonely bastard with nothing in life to look forward to. The mark was important; it told you exactly who your soulmate was by inscribing the first words they'd ever speak to you on your skin.
Chad was eager to meet his soulmate, even if the words that had been scrawled into his forearm always seemed a bit... well. Not soulmate-y. Regardless, he was eager to see what kind of person his soulmate would be -- until his family so kindly pointed out: those were words meant for a villain.
Robert grew up in shame of his mark; the excitement to meet who he was always destined to meet was never really there for him, really, the cruel words inscribed on his stomach were always just a harsh reminder of his father's "tough it out" attitude toward him.

But amidst all the celebrations and recovery prep, everyone forgot to check on the dispatcher who had just been tortured by Shroud the night before-- a dispatcher who was too selfless to ask for medical attention. Robert struggles to navigate life through the lens of a "normie". Someone who can't fall back on being a superhero in order to avoid his biology. He never expected to live this long to suffer the consequences of the abuse he put his body through constantly. Now, he's dealing with ex-super villains and trying to help them in their rehabilitation while suffering through a hormonal hurricane.
Luckily, or unluckily, depending on how you view it, his team is comprised of mostly single alphas who are all too happy to ogle their new dispatcher, who screams emotional baggage. Now just to see who can crack the sarcastic ass dispatcher first, and maybe do their jobs along the way.
