“Kid, calm down… it's okay.” Stanley said, his voice low and calming, rumbling against Senku's frame. Senku shuddered violently.
“It's- not..” Senku sniffled. His breath shuttered his entire chest. “Didn't you- didn't you see? Katsumi-san-”
The hand stopped petting him. Senku felt his chest heave with emotion and agony.
“... you're smart. Me and Xe’ both know that.” The man said carefully. “...Kid, understand this, please…” Senku's heart stuttered, and he sobbed into the man's chest-
“Xeno's protecting you.” Stanley's hand put a grounding pressure on his spine. “...He's protecting you,” Stanley held him closer. “Okay?”
Senku’s heart shattered like a glass balloon.

(or, Senku was targeted by bad people for his intelligence. There was only so much his old man, Xeno, and his husband Stanley could do- but trauma doesn't just go away, especially when Senku chronically represses all of his bad memories.)

Summary
" Two shimmering, iridescent white wings, faded to pale green at the ends of its gorgeous feathers, were protruding from the man's back below his shoulders. The smeared blood on the quills splattered on the ground glinted dark red, almost black in the moonlight. They unfurled, spreading its wingspan towards the stars in the sky, curved and so beautifully reflective of the sky.
Senku could feel the new muscles of the extra, but somehow not foreign, limbs stretching gracefully. The pain in his back was reduced to a dull ache, and he felt pure relief as he felt the new limbs give a final shiver, the feathers rattling together with a soft sound. There was a moment of stunned silence, the only sound being Senku's ragged breathing.
Senku Ishigami just grew wings, and they were beautiful. "
...(Or; Senku doesn't remember anything from before he was rescued by Stanley Snider and adopted by Byakuya. 3,700 years later, he's answered by a pair of wings.)

…Wait.
Senku’s eyes blew wide open, irises cold and calculating. “Re-petrification?” He spoke aloud, quickly dismissing the concern of any possible sickness at the way his eyes adjusted quickly, facing the popcorn ceiling. The ceiling that most definitely was not in the stone world, which were hatch and straw or stone based off- “Kidnapping? No, that’s-” He brought up two fingers to his face, quickly going through the motions of calculations and equations. His head rushed through numbers and possibilities, and he stared at the solar system model that was in the corner.
Wait. That was made when he was eight, correct? So that means-
Until he realized with a sickening snap that put everything into reality- the room stopped spinning and shifting, and everything was clear and in 4k. He felt his chest tighten.
“It worked,” He breathed. “It really worked.”
Ishigami Senku succeeded in time travel, and he's absolutely going to make it everyone's problem.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku was not prepared for his quirk.
A quirk was a tool, an ability that benefits the user and can be used and accommodated to. Quirks were nothing but, well, quirks. So when Izuku gets his quirk, in all its videogame-esque glory, he can only assume it'll be great for him and his future career as a hero.
It's not.
...(Or, Izuku gets his quirk at fourteen, and its based off the backrooms in a horror game format. He really just wants to be a hero, and to not lose his sanity. But hey, at least his dad is secretly All Might!... That's a good thing, right..?)

After his dream is finally crushed, Izuku isn’t quite sure there’s anything left for him to live for, but...he can’t exactly kill himself either, not without hurting the people he cares the most about. So, when he realizes that the quirkless can’t technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life.

Summary
Yagi Toshinori watched the green haired boy walk away after saving his friend and shook his head. While the boy's actions were heroic, he was just too reckless. He walked in the opposite direction, thinking about a time he could meet the candidate Sir Nighteye put forward.
Izuku Midoriya goes home and decides that, even if he can't be hero himself, he can still help them with his analysis. Cue Izuku catching the attention of multiple heroes who are a little more open-minded and willing to see the potential in a quirkless kid.
