Summary
Kaveh’s tattoos are praised by celebrities and magazines alike, but somewhere along the path to his success, the meaning bled out of his art. Then, after ten long years, Alhaitham rides back into his life on a motorcycle - rugged, quick-witted, and infuriatingly unforgettable.
With love laced into the ink Kaveh had long since stopped believing in, something beautiful finally begins to take shape once more.
It was too immaculate, really. The sleek countertops, glass partitions, and impossibly white walls gleamed under soft, ambient lighting like they’d never known the comfort of a chaos Kaveh had lived with his entire life. Every surface was made of the kind of material that rejected fingerprints and resisted clutter - sanitized, both physically and emotionally.
Though the district his new studio was in was posh and high-end, it was surprisingly devoid of a single decent coffee shop. Perhaps the elitist locals had never actually tasted good coffee and simply mistook bitterness in a designer cup for depth - much like their conversations.
So far, Kaveh had choked down three lattes and a macchiato that tasted like lukewarm regret with a splash of oat milk.

I wish that I could forget you.Kaveh wants the pain from his (apparently) unrequited love for Alhaitham to go away. Accidentally, his wish comes true.
“You would’ve never called me Acting Grand Sage and meant it. Perhaps sarcastically, or mockingly, but never… never what you’re doing now. Like that’s all you see me as.”
Alhaitham mourns someone who is still alive.

Summary
Waking up, Kaveh is confronted with water dripping from the ceiling into their kitchen. He finds a missing shingle on the roof and fixes it temporarily with the help of Mehrak. But there is no going around hiring workers, since both he and Alhaitham are busy.
Alhaitham gets overstimulated by the construction noise, Kaveh gets angry over the incompetence of the workers.
Losing their patience, they turn to each other. Their old bond turns into something new, buried feelings coming to light like construction defects under the watchful sight of a building supervisor.- Language:

Summary
He approached the booth without announcing himself, only slowing when Kaveh stirred at the sound of his footsteps.
There was a fleeting moment of fond recognition in Kaveh’s eyes as he turned his head, but it vanished as quickly as it came, iced over by something sharp and bitter. “Great,” he scoffed, voice hoarse. “Another ghost of my past has showed up to mock me.”
He knocked back the last mouthful of whatever was in his goblet and slammed it down onto the table with a loud clang and enough force to make the empty bottles rattle. Alhaitham’s eyes drifted over the small disaster spread across the table. Two bottles of wine lay tipped on their sides, their contents having soaked into the wood and leaving dark red stains along the edges. One cork had rolled near the booth’s edge and nearly fallen off. The surface was slick and sticky to the touch.
Alhaitham slid into the booth without a word.
“How have you been, Kaveh?”
A re-telling of Alhaitham and Kaveh's journey back to each other, only Kaveh is suffering from an eating disorder.

Summary
“Just trust me,” Kaveh says into Alhaitham’s ear, not really asking – it is rather a plea. His voice drowns in desperation as he tugs Alhaitham closer by the arm and looks back at Dilawar with a kind, rather casual expression. “This is Alhaitham, my new roommate. And my boyfriend.”
And so Alhaitham obeys and trusts him.
Kaveh tries to get rid of his ex by pretending to be in a relationship with Alhaitham. It's not as easy as they first thought, though.
