    Luke turned to look at him. Percy thought he was going to say something, but the older demigod just watched the Coke can slowly floating down the creek. His head was tilted to one side like he was listening to something in the distance. Then he nodded to himself.

    “I am leaving, Percy,” he said, turning his head to stare at him dead in the eye. “And I want you to come with me.”

    Left off beginning of Ch. 28
    This one is so good but I am struggling to keep reading it because I am so heartbroken and worried about everything going down and how horrible the fallout will be. Like every single decision Percy has made has been reasonable and in character, but he has dug himself into such a deep hole and they have had so many unintended negative consequences so that things are almost definitely just going to continue to get worse.

    The one where Luke recruits Percy instead of trying to kill him at the end of TLT and Percy decides to join as a spy and to try and keep Luke from doing anything stupid and epically fails in both of those goals.

    Damian Al Ghul Wayne dies pathetically. Pathetically, but peacefully, with two brothers by his side and the voice of his father in his ear. He foolishly believes that he won't resurrect someway or another.

    Why. Why did he think that? Why, with the absurdity that is his life? He honestly should have known better.

    Or: Thirteen year old Damian wakes up as a toddler version of himself. As you can imagine, he's not particularly pleased about the toddler part. Or that he's in a different universe with no way to go back.

    The silver lining is that he now has the chance to be Father's only child (temporarily). But that's only after he gets home because in case he forgot to mention, he woke up in the League.

    Fuck.

    Regardless of the differences of this strange universe, he is determined to ensure the adoption of his siblings. If his plans do not succeed, Damian will be forced to take...drastic measures to bring them together.

    Ch. 18
    Dami dies (at 13) while protecting Tim. He wakes up again as a 2yo in the league. He discovers that he is in an AU where his mother is more affectionate and later discovers that he is also in an AU where him and all his siblings are closer in age and none of them are ready to be taken in yet. Dami has a stuffed bat named Batplush (in honor of Dick’s preferred naming method). We just met Dick and Tim at the circus and Dami immediately declared them his brothers and insisted they take a picture together. He is all excited to get his brother back forgetting how that comes to be. He remembers mid performance and makes a contrived plot to try and save the Graysons that includes having Alfred take him to the bathroom. The Graysons fall while he is gone. Bruce protects Dick as he did originally and insists on going with him to the police station. He does however still let Dick go with the social worker to his emergency foster placement. Dami sees him return without his brother and loses it. I look forward to seeing how this develops as Bruce has already done a lot of the foster care paperwork after finding out about Jonathan Kent made him want a family eventually. Dami showed up shortly after demanding big brothers and a big sister specifically much to Bruce’s confusion. Tim’s birthday is also coming up shortly and Dami mentioned them potentially celebrating together which I hope occurs.
