Summary
Charlie lingers in the locker room long after all the other boys have left, almost as if he doesn’t want any of them to see where he’s going, and that more than anything convinces Nick that he’s got to do something to find out what’s wrong. So when Nick leaves the locker room, he turns a corner and then hovers there, waiting to see which direction Charlie goes.
He’s not sure what he’s expecting—maybe that Charlie’s sneaking off to see Ben again? But Charlie doesn’t meet up with Ben. He doesn’t meet up with anyone. Instead, he ducks into a broom cupboard and emerges five minutes later in pajamas with a rucksack slung over his shoulders and what looks like a sleeping bag tucked under his arm.
Nick comes out from around the corner. “Charlie? What are you doing?”

A closeted Charlie comes out to his parents after Ben assaults him. When his mum kicks him out of the house, Nick and Sarah take him in instead.

Summary
Nick is a self-employed photographer, taking commercial photographs to make money while he finds a market for the photographs he wants to take. Charlie owns and runs a bar in Brixton, South London, and needs new publicity shots of the place for the website. Things may start out purely professional, but meddling gays can’t leave well enough alone and they don’t stay that way for long.
The title for the fic is from a Chappell Roan song with the same title. This isn’t a song fic, though, and the song, instead, is inspiration for Nick’s tattoo…

Summary
American AU set in central Texas.
Charlie Spring transfers to Truham High in 10th grade to get away from the bullying he faced at his old school. He makes friends with Tao, Elle, and Isaac, and almost immediately crosses paths with Nick Nelson, and there’s immediate interest between the two of them. Then he finds out that Nick is the catcher for the Truham baseball team. Thaaaaaat’s a bit of a problem.
Charlie Spring hates baseball.
Nick Nelson is… mostly looking forward to the start of 11th grade at Truham High. He’s popular enough, has good friends, and is the starting catcher on the varsity baseball team. But Nick is tired. No one, not even his friends, seems to see him as anything as boring old reliable Nick. Then he sees Charlie Spring, and wow. Instant crush. Except… Charlie hates him.
Can Nick convince Charlie that baseball isn’t actually the worst sport in the world? Can Charlie maybe be the one person who sees past Nick’s façade?

Summary
“Thinking back now, Charlie didn't want to make assumptions, but he hoped he was part of the reason Nick switched courses. If not for him (which seemed unlikely since they'd just met), but because this course was more interesting than what he was previously taking, an overall favour that saved Nick from a boring start to his week and awarded Charlie a friendship.
A very important one, at that.
Now, with an entire term, several failed study sessions traded for video games, walks at the park between their flats, tipsy talks in Charlie's bedroom after nights out, an endless thread of texts between them, and a friendship the likes of which he'd never experienced, Charlie couldn't imagine a world where Nick wasn't with him twice a week — typically more, almost daily.”
