Summary
In the cold war between the co-commanders, Kylo Ren has won, assumed control of the First Order, and taken steps to render Hux powerless and humiliated. As they both struggle with their new realities, Ren comes to the reluctant conclusion that he needs the General on his side to ensure the success of the First Order. Unfortunately, his actions have finally driven Hux to consider the worst kind of treason and Ren can't let that slide.
Ren needs to bind Hux back to his side. How can he bend the general without breaking him?

Ren's face twitched with frustration. "You're stronger than I thought General."
"I won't roll over and spread my legs for you Ren." Hux snarled. "Not without a fight."
Kylo Ren's eyes flared like a lightsaber. He leaned in so close that Hux felt the hot pulse of Ren's breath lashing against his ear. "I will crack you open. I will take everything from you Hux. It's only a matter of time."

Summary
General Hux – he couldn’t help sneering just thinking about him. He was an uptight, pretentious, arrogant bastard. He strutted about the ship as if he ruled it, as if Kylo had no right to be there. He had the audacity to challenge Kylo when it came to matters of war. Kylo, one of the most fearsome warriors in the entire Galaxy, one of the most powerful Alphas, yet Hux didn't even waver when arguing against him.
Kylo hated him. Despised him. One proper brawl, anywhere, anytime, that’s how real Alphas solved these power struggles. That's what he wanted.
(At least until he stormed into Hux's quarters and felt the unmistakable scent of an Omega.)
