Summary
When Ian Lightfoot unexpectedly comes upon an unknown talisman, it leads him and his older brother, Barley, on a path to try and figure out its purpose. But when they are unable to follow the traditional quest right away, the brothers come into conflict with each other over where to go onward. Ultimately, the mysterious magical relic will send both Ian and Barley on an all-new adventure that will test their relationship and bring them even closer together.

Barley always saw himself as a good person. He runs campaigns with his fellowship. He tries to help anyone in need. But most of all, he loves his mother and little brother with every fiber of his being.
He stands up for what he believes in. When he was young, he was told by his mother that if he ever felt like something was unfair or unjust, he should point it out. And he took that to heart.
But his efforts to preserve history have made him a perceived nuisance in the eyes of the general public. Especially the cops.
