“Diluc Ragnvindr!” shouted Kaeya accusingly, anger radiating in his voice.
“Sir Kaeya, to what do I owe the dubious pleasure at this hour?” responded the man as he continued to look over the documents in front of him.
Diluc did something stupid and it led to a situation Kaeya was not ready to be a part of.

His veins were on fire, surely this was not the way he'd die? Diluc didn't have an answer for that though as he laid on the cold floor of the cellar, his body burned with an unnatural flame. His mind faded from the present, reliving the past he thought was behind him. Seeing one's life before their eyes...maybe he was dying....
As Diluc suffers in agony from being poisoned, his mind decided to take a trip into the past.
