It feels like handing a knife over and waiting to see of Dazai will slit his throat.
Instead, he feels long fingers curl into his hair, gently dragging along his scalp. It is an act so gentle that Chuuya almost wants to sob with how violently the gentleness shakes him. He doesn’t. Even if he did, he trusts Dazai not to say anything. There has always been a sacredness to the aftermath of Corruption, an unspoken agreement that vulnerability in those moments will not be spoken of later. Not Dazai’s care or whatever Chuuya might go through.

Summary
A sea of stars flickered and danced with life overhead, twilight blanketing them in an alien darkness, floating aimlessly through space as the last two people on earth. Or at least, the last two people to roam the streets, on their way to a home with borrowed time that was long overdue. Any minute now, the sand could stop, and the world could flip on its head.
Chuuya kept his tongue tucked in his cheek, tracing old scar tissue—a grotesque reminder of his instinct to bite. The walk back was unbearably quiet, the whistle of the icy wind amplified almost painfully against his ears. Dazai didn’t speak once, which Chuuya had come to realize he really hated. More than when he talked too much.

Summary
Best friends is too simple a term to squash the entire dynamic of Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya within.
Sure, they’ve known each other since they were children, and they’re each other’s #1 on their best friend lists on Snapchat, and Chuuya’s been seen one too many times in his hoodies. People have also noticed how Dazai’s main muse for his volunteer hobby of polaroid photographer is the redhead himself.
But the pranks they pull on each other isn’t much of a ‘best friend’ thing to do.
Especially when one of the pranks get pulled so far,
That Chuuya is forbidden from seeing Dazai ever again.

looking about the sea, he takes a calming breathe and the final puff of his cigar before putting it out on the floor.
the waters below create soft sounds of washing waves against the ship and all the quietest moments of animals of the night, fish for the most part.one especially large one catches his eye, only the tip of the tail showing in the lightest pale blue. Tuna maybe, large bastards..
It leaves a decently sized ripple in the water in its wake, and a shadow he can't properly make out of a.. proportional looking thing goes deeper into the darkest blues of the night sky reflected on the surface.Definitely Tuna, or a shark? maybe a small shark..
whatever, it's gone now anyway.

"You're mad," Chuuya murmured, sounding awfully awed.
Dazai answered with a shaky roll of the hips. Chuuya laughed against his skin, then bit down, and Dazai couldn't help the breathless moan that escaped his lips. It was shameful, he knew that, but he couldn't care less. Chuuya was grinding against him now, and each motion sent electric sparks down his spine. He could feel his own blood slowly being drained out of him, and it was maddening. Dazai felt lightheaded.
"Fuck me," he blurted out. He felt as if Chuuya was about to suck him dry, and he shouldn't love it, shouldn't feel aroused by it, but he helplessly did.

Or, Dazai has signed a contract with a demon when he was fifteen, but Chuuya is nothing like what he expected. Begrudgingly, Dazai worked alongside him for four years. But now, things are not quite like how they used to be. Dazai is too weak. And Chuuya is so, so pretty.
