Summary
Stood right where Robert Robertson III had been only moments earlier was a small, scraggly… child? A small kid with pale skin, unkempt cropped hair, and an uncomfortably familiar notch missing from his ear. He stared up at them with wide blown-out eyes, flicking between all the adults in front of him.
“Robert? Are you-“
“Who the fuck are you?”
Uh oh.
After Visi accidentally drops a villain's weapon, Robert is transformed back into his ten year old self, both physically and mentally, remembering nothing of his future self. The Z-Team and co. must now deal with a half-feral and deeply traumatised child while they figure out how to get their beloved dispatcher back, and also learning a lot about why he is the way he is.

"What's wrong B?" Dick insists, hands hovering over his father's shoulders. Bruce had just stopped; he held himself stiffly.
“It’s nothing. Just my back,” he says casually despite still holding a careful posture. “It acts up sometimes when the weather gets like this.”
For a moment Dick is considering what his dad could mean. The thought of age finally catching up to him comes first but then his mind supplies the right answer.
‘Oh’, Dick thinks with dreadful clarity. "Bane, right."

A small one—barely a tadpole in the way of throat-frogs—but Jason had heard it. ]

Summary
He stepped out into the morning reluctantly. What might’ve been a sunny day was dulled by the smog of Gotham stretching through the sky. The yard around him was mostly dead with the early snaps of oncoming winter, but faint sounds of wildlife echoed from the woods beyond. A small flock of robins chirped at each other in the outermost grove of trees, earnest to stubborn out the cold.
The door clicked open behind Bruce, and he turned to Alfred. The butler was dressed more casually than usual, disposing of his formal suit for hiking pants and boots. A camo green pack across his waist bulged with hidden supplies. It was such a startling shift that it took Bruce an extra moment to notice what Alfred was holding.
Bruce stepped back instinctively.
That was a shotgun. In Alfred’s hand.

A new supervillain is terrorising the city, draining people's soulmate connections and leaving them catatonic, in order to fuel some kind of unknown plot.
But that's totally ok, because Robert Robertson doesn't actually have a soulmate... or so he thinks.

Summary
Preening was the most intimate ritual in avian cultures. Done only by family and partners, it was more than simple hygiene for avians. It was a gesture of trust and love. There were very specific customs about where they were done, what words were spoken to cue the ritual, and who could do it. Traditions varied slightly, but the core concepts remained the same. Among avians, requests to preen and be preened were expected to be semi-frequent, in order to maintain the deep bonds that avians kept with each other.
Or, 5 times Bruce preens his birds and 1 time they preen him.

It's worse than Duke could have ever assumed, but he kind of can't stop smiling, "His memories have regressed too?"
Damian sighs, "Yes. He's currently eight."
"Eight and a half," Bruce corrects petulantly, frowning at Damian, which is hilarious because Damian glares back with the exact same expression.

He might be temporarily retired as a superhero, drowning in thousands of dollars of credit card debt, fighting through chronic pain, unable to take revenge for his father’s killer, and working as the barely respected leader of a group of superpowered assholes… but at least he didn’t have to deal with that.
