Summary
“Are you okay?” Otabek murmurs as Yuri drinks in his scent. Unsurprisingly, it does a lot to calm his nerves, but it also interferes with the whole don’t let them know I’m in love with their son thing he’s got going on.
Yuri nods. He doesn’t want to let go but he forces himself to, stepping back and peeping around the breadth of Otabek’s shoulder to see the Altins gathered on their sofa, shoes and luggage strewn down the hallway.

Whilst Yuri's in the throes of agonising over his feelings for his best friend, Otabek invites his family to stay with them for Christmas. Will Yuri be able to survive five nights of pestering, intrusive thoughts and restraining himself from what he wants most?
Or, alternatively, Yuri wants Otabek. Otabek wants Yuri. Otabek's mother wants grandchildren and Otabek's sisters see right through them.

It’s the same reasoning every time, though it may be worded differently. There’s a deadline. These designs won’t finish themselves. Lilia needs this done before I meet with her. Otabek is a strong man, he’s got to be to deal with the monotony of security work day in and day out, but beneath that he is a lover. Yuri’s lover. “What are you doing?” he asks, and Yuri lets out a small ha of victory when he manages to dig out a notepad and pen from the bottom junk drawer of their dresser.
“We,” Yuri enunciates, flopping back onto the bed and ignoring the ache of his still half-hard erection pressing into the covers, “Are going to make a list.”
“A list,” Otabek says, back with the repeating. Yuri rolls his eyes and flips to a clean page, chewing on the tip of his pen before he writes sexcapades at the top.
“Yeah, of all the things we’ve ever wanted to do in bed,” Yuri says, dotting a bullet point before writing at the rink next to it. “Or out of it.”

Summary
“You’d make a good little househusband,” Yuri comments when Otabek takes a break, sprawled over Yuri’s lap with his face burrowed into his stomach.
After a while, Otabek pulls back, looking up at Yuri with the same half-smile that made him fall years ago. “What does that make you, then?”
Yuri blinks, lips parting for a moment before he realises he doesn’t know what to say. There’s only one word, dancing on the tip of his tongue, and he figures he might as well say it even if it does make his face flush. “Yours.”

He's always loved the weight of Shiro against him, whether through sparring or moments of intimacy: the sheer size of him, the breadth of his shoulders and the hardness of his chest pressing him down. It makes him feel alive in a way nothing else can compare, the beat of a heart against his, the exchanging of heady breath between them.
And Keith wants to feel alive.

There’s a smile on his face, a ghost of what he’d seen earlier, but so incredibly somber, and Georgi knows. He knows Viktor feels it too, the sickness of solitude, even if it’s in a different, equally as bitter form.
“I want to feel something, Georgi,” Viktor says, and there’s a hopelessness to his voice, to the way his nails dig into Georgi’s flesh, clinging to him. “Don’t you?”

Biggest disrespect you can do to his name. Disrespect. You might as well be spitting on his grave, Yuri. Can you still call yourself a Plisetsky, Yuri?
*Yuri Plisetsky hates being eighteen.
After losing the person he loves the most, he finds himself spiralling into a chasm of self blame and punishment, causing him to push everything and everyone away from him.
But Yuri's always been selfish, and eventually not even guilt can keep him away from the things he holds dear.

"Then I'll tell you who I am, then, seeing as my best fucking friend doesn't seem to know," Yuri hisses through gritted teeth. "My name is Yuri, and I've been in love with you for too fucking long to deal with any of this shit."

He dreams about it at night. Yuri, in the flouncy little shirt he wore that day, slipping off his slender shoulders as he unties Otabek’s tie with thin fingers. Straddling him as he uses it to bind Otabek’s wrists together, behind his back so he can’t touch. Even in sleep, it’s excruciating, having Yuri there, so close yet untouchable, as his breath ghosts over his jaw, his cheeks, his lips, before drawing away and disappearing into darkness. Just like reality, Otabek thinks, when he wakes up hard and aching, desperate for something he hasn’t completely rationalised yet.

When a new intern starts working at the fashion office Otabek is a security guard at, his life abruptly explodes with colour. Yuri is cold, sharp and driven, but a softness lies within that Otabek's determined to discover.
