Peter, now forgotten by the world, prepares to die. That is, until Iron Man shows up looking for Spider-Man.

A voice, in the back of his mind, whispers. "It's not Strange's fault that you're alone now."
Peter continued, voice rising. "But you’re angry, at yourself, right? For letting it all happen. And now they’re gone, and you’ll never see them again, and what are you supposed to do, kill yourself over it?"
What are you supposed to do, when you look at your mentor and they see you as a stranger? What do you do, when all you are to your mentor is a a jumper to save before continuing on to the people he cares about?
"I lived with it." Mister Stark's reply was gentle, infuriatingly so, and it angered Peter. The older man would never understand, would never stop being better than Peter could ever be. He just... lived with it.
Peter couldn't live with it.

Tony swore he could have gotten whiplash from the speed his head whipped around towards the ceiling. He pushed himself up from where he was sitting in the lab, the noise of metal tools hitting the work station table filled the otherwise silent room.
“What's happening Fri, talk to me” He spoke, already heading towards the door.
“Peter requires your assistance.” The AI announced. Stark stopped in his tracks, silence filling the room as he reviewed the sentence his AI had just delivered to him in his head.
“Who the fuck is Peter.”

Post NWH but, Tony Stark is alive and the overdone field trip trope is still going strong.

Summary
Scott looked up towards the Obelisk again, dread creeping up on his senses.
Abolish was standing beside the corrupted beacon. The blood red color lit the shadows of the Obelisk and more importantly his face. Abolish took his hand off the beacon.
"Oh." The butler paused, "Hi Scott."
There was red in his eyes, a deeper shade of crimson replaced the calm amber of his pupils.
"A-Abolish?"
The Count stuttered, taken aback by the sight of his butler and the red surrounding him.
"You shouldn't be out here alone." Abolish said, his voice was flat. He hopped down from the structure.
or An AU where Abolish is Scott's butler but Abolish is the vampire that's hundreds of years old and Scott is a runaway count who brought his trusty butler with him!
