Merlin's position as Arthur's manservant has become more widely known...it was only a matter of time until this became a problem.
Merlin swallows, hands curling into fists. The chains wrapped around his wrists squeeze as his muscles flex. Fresh blood leaks where the metal loops dig into his skin, running down his arms where they’re hung over his head. He shifts, trying to alleviate the pressure, but his toes just manage to scuff the ground.
"He won’t come for me."
Or, Merlin get's kidnapped because Arthur's a prince and everyone has to deal with the repercussions.
