When he looks up at Lighter, the other man is glaring at him, the heat of his gaze palpable even through the dim of his sunglasses. "Boss. Didn't I tell you that our relationship is professional?"
Harumasa smiles wryly. "Did you, now?"
"You told me… that you would keep me at arms' length.” The boxer huffs. “That you'd keep your distance."
"Oh, the 'arms' length' thing is figurative." The archer lets out a laugh, and it's a mocking little thing. "As for distance… don't tell me you can't handle us being a little close?"
Or: Asaba Harumasa and Lighter Lorenz have a strictly practical relationship. Probably.

Summary
“Shit, they found us,” Lighter curses, eyeing the door as the heavy footsteps down the hallway get louder. Harumasa stops himself mid-sentence, and Seth’s ears twitch as his tail shoots up in alarm. A quick glance around the room tells them that there’s both nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.
All of a sudden, Lighter is shoved away and pinned to the closest wall. There are two small hands holding his sides in place, and he instinctively squirms to get out of them. That is, until a warm chest is pressed flush against his and sharp golden eyes stare him down.
Harumasa hisses, “stay still, Lorenz.”
Without missing a beat, Seth comes closer until he's right behind Harumasa and wraps his arms around both of their waists to cage them in further. He rests his chin on the archer's shoulder, his face mere inches away from Lighter’s own.
“I’m sorry,” Seth whispers breathlessly, just before leaning in and closing the distance.
Or: As he's said before, those public servants are kinda terrifying. Why, then, is Lighter Lorenz entangled with not one, but two of them?

Summary
A new hollow has formed in New Eridu, and it contains Ethereals that are unlike any other. Seth is part of a small team that takes over the initial investigation. Said team includes one Senior Asaba Harumasa--a man that Seth has fallen head over heels for.
Unfortunately for Seth, the Ethereals' key tactic is manipulation, and he quickly realizes that he can't hide from certain truths.
