Summary
No amount of kind gestures or running from his past, like a snake shedding its skin, could turn a sheep into a shepherd, a sinner into a Saint. John’s bible— a six-point revolver that neatly rested on his hip each bullet, his sacred scripture that prophesied cathedrals built of bodies, sermons written in greed, blood spilled from friends and family whose faces became indistinguishable as the storm itself. Still, John carried little regret; each sin was a stepping stone to salvation, but who was he kidding? The line between rationale and violence had long since blurred.
John died a quick, cold and ugly death in 1911 and opened his eyes to a raging blizzard in 1899 surprised to see the very man he’d been chasing since that final good-bye on top that wretched mountain. Initially excited for the second chance to make things right, John soon realizes that curses and blessings look the same amidst a snowstorm. But He finds out he may not be alone in the storm after all.

Summary
“And why come back when so many are leaving Hawkins?”
Will slowed without meaning to. The leaves under his shoes crackled. “I–”
What should he tell this stranger that wouldn’t reveal the fact that his sister had superpowers and might actually be the only key to save this entire town from a monstrous maniac?
“Well, everyone I know is here,” he murmured. “I couldn’t… just leave them.”
The man hummed softly, then he lifted his head to scan over the woods, a faint whistle came from his lips, before his gaze landed onto Will again.
“Maybe something here wanted you back.”

Summary
“It was a seven.”
“Huh?” Mike turns to see Will lingering behind.
“The roll. It was a seven,” Will admits with an earnestness that takes Mike aback. He realizes all at once that Lucas must have lied. Either that, or Will had been keeping it a secret. He’s not totally sure which is more likely. “The Demogorgon, it got me.”
