Summary
Midoriya Izuku just wants to lead a quiet, peaceful life. This is foiled by the fact that a) he can see spirits, b) his good nature demands that he help anyone he sees in trouble, and c) he, by all rights, should not exist.
Helping the heroes who have fallen victim to the new quirk-breaking drug is a terrible idea for many reasons, the first and most important being that he hates attention and avoids it like the plague. But he's the only one who can help, so he does.
This is, Izuku decides as he breaks in, more trouble than it's worth.

Police called him Wildcard, which was ...fitting. And what the hell is this guy's quirk?1-A finds out that despite his soft and shy appearance, Izuku has one hell of a poker face.
Nedzu isn't one to fold, though, not when the odds are stacked this high.Clouds are gathering on the horizon of time, and even the strongest combination of quirks can't stop the parallel lines from crossing.

Quirks aren't everything in this world, nor is your family status.
Animals are treated less than humans, even though they have the capacity to feel emotions and think for themselves. They're pushed away, merely because they're not human. Nezu? Heck, he's so smart, everyone's scared of what would happen if they got on his bad side. Half the society, at the very least, still think that he's just an animal.
Midoriya? No quirk, he's ranked even lower, less than human. At least Nezu still had a quirk.
At least, that's what they thought.
