He’s from El Paso, Texas and now is one of LA finest, working as a firefighter. And that’s after serving our country as a combat medic, he received a silver star for saving his squadron after their helicopter went down. He is an all American hero. So let's make sure he can hear you as he’s coming out of that shoot!” The noise in the space got louder as the shoot opened and that's when it all went wrong.
Or: Eddie used to spend summers on his uncle ranch and learned how to ride bulls. In 2017 Bfor offically moving to LA and joing the fire department, Eddie travel the PBR and even won the sliver buckle. He never told the 118 and they didn't know until the rodeo was in town and they went to watch. Eddie ride went wrong.

Summary
Buck had left the past behind. He was done with everything. Until Jason Baker, the leader of the illegal fighting, kidnaps the members of 118 and Athena, to force Eddie to fight for him again. Buck would do anything to protect the people he loves, even reopen old scars that he thought were sealed forever. Buck is sure they will make it out alive, what he's not sure about is whether his friends will still be able to look him in the face at the end.

Buck realizes that it takes a village to raise a child when a baby girl is left on his doorstep. Left with a note that tells him she's his, Buck tries to do the right thing and step up to the role that was given to him, finding himself responsible for taking care of an entire human being who is depending on him.
And with Eddie's help, who is on his own journey of healing and self-acceptance, they both learn about the readymade family they've always had as they end up co-parenting their children together and becoming something more.
