“I’m—my name is Castiel,” the man—Castiel—gasps.
“Who are you?” Dean repeats. He shakes him a little for emphasis, knocking Castiel’s head against the ground. “Where is—what are you doing here?”
“I’m a hunter,” he answers quickly. “I’m looking for—John Winchester. He was supposed to be here.”When John Winchester goes missing, Dean knows he must do whatever he can to find him. The last thing he expects is to run into another hunter chasing the same lead. Castiel is a mystery, but against his better judgement Dean finds himself drawn to him. If nothing else, hopefully he can help Dean find his dad.

Summary

Summary
In which Amara doesn't bring back Mary, she brings back John Winchester.
Dean is uncertain what Amara's meaning is when she brings John back, and struggles with coming to terms with the new family dynamic. Sam tries harder to keep the peace than he used to, and Cas does not get along with John at all- though he tries. Testosterone is at an all-time high as these four men struggle to coexist in the hunting world with very different ideologies.
We explore just how much the brothers have changed in the ten years without their father's guidance, the trauma they still haven't resolved, and the feelings that Dean and Cas hold for one another despite the very real and new barrier that is John.

The first time, they’re children, with their fathers’ bruises on their bodies and a connection that wasn’t meant to be.
A decade later, the bruises have solidified, sunk into their bones. Dean carries it like a thin veneer of devil-may-care charm, using it as a shield from anything too real spilling out. In Cas it swirls as a smoky darkness under the white shirt and silver cross of being the pastor’s son.
Their connection still isn’t meant to be, but Dean can’t stay away, even if the friendship threatens to destroy both of them.

It's the middle of a hunt, Sam is missing, and Dean get caught by a Fed. Great. Just great. He doesnt have time to deal with this. So, he does the only logical thing he can. He kidnaps said Fed, ties him up in Rufus' cabin, and calls Cas to Fed-sit while he goes searching for his brother.
Needless to say, the situation brings up some unpleasant memories for one Spencer Reid.

"Poseidon, I am not jumping off of this cliff! I'm not doing it. I won't, you can't make me, it's very high, I am not going to-"
"If my brother sees you here, he's going to assume that you're carrying my child."
"Ridiculous. I have much higher standards."
"I also have higher standards, but he isn't going to listen to us," Poseidon reasoned. The wind blew a bit harder, and Poseidon felt the sea rise with his anxiety. "I would use my powers to hide you, but he'll sense I've used them. You'll be fine," he tried, and Sally gave something of a skeptical laugh.
"Not happening."
The lightning grew closer. For the love of-
"In that case… I'm sorry," he said. Sally tilted her head suspiciously.
"Why are you-" she began but was cut off by Poseidon shoving her off the cliff's edge. He could hear a scream. It started loud and high before getting smaller and smaller. Finally, a splash followed.
Or
Sally and Poseidon spent one summer together… and most of it was them being on the run for a godly crime they didn't commit.

Caffeinated - as always, incredible writing, plot idea and world building
But omg I loved it soooo much. Sally’s personality, their falling in love, all the side characters, the humour, the start of each chapter being a debrief was hilarious (especially when Sally and Posiden were fighting over the kiss and Paul is like PLOT DIVERSION )
But yeah - fantastic, amazing, beautiful, incredible

Wow wow wow this was so good
Very eerie with those small town vibes and kind of like a haunted feel to it - there was always just something unsettling behind the curtain so to speak.
So so well written. I love dean and Cas is this - with their little dates and Dean wanting to be with Cas and Cas’ possessiveness.
Still trying to figure out if Dean is starting to see the same delusions as his dad or if something else is going on, but it definitely adds to the feels

I’m sure so many have sung this fics praises already but holy shit I loved that
The writing was phenomenal. I always love a good celebrity fic. Fake dating isn’t usually a trope I read but I loved how this author did and and the angst from some miscommunication but it wasn’t over done
Loved alllllllll the characters that made an appearance (except Balthezar - he pissed me off haha)
So so so so so sosisosososososos good
I loved seeing them fall in love and self deny but ansjejwhwjqkwkwjwje
Their relationship was everything to me
The plot was fantastic

He’s completely certain this weird religious movement he’s “investigating” is a hoax, despite the miraculous healings people report, and he’ll be back on the road in a day or two. Things are looking up when he meets Cas, an awkward (and gorgeous) graduate student who’s actually doing honest-to-god research into the local tent revival meetings. When that research takes a weird and personal turn, Dean’s left to face two very serious realities: one, this may be a real case after all, and two, he’s fallen way harder for Cas than he should ever have let himself.
