Summary
At age ten Izuku was kidnapped and he became just another statistic to the world. To himself though, he became a monster.
Izuku went through four years of hell courtesy of All for One, but he survived. Finally free of the torture he was put through Izuku is declared a finished product and is given to Shigaraki to help with his plans. The issue is Izuku might not be as brainwashed as the villains seem to think he is. But that's alright, Izuku just needs to survive one day at a time because no one is coming to save him. He's completely and totally given up.
That is, until UA comes into the picture and he begins to question if he can really keep on being a villain and hurting his new friends.

With how the middle was going, knowing how Aladdin ends. The subversion was cool and well done cause I was so anxios before that and then my guard was down just to get tricked haha

Dean chuckles and pauses in his walk to lean against the edge of the walkway, stretching out his bad thigh. "Well, aren't you the brave little nugget," he tells her.
She tips her head at him. Most of the others have brown feathers scattered with a little cream or black, some mottled patterns showing through from the skin underneath. In the misty, dewy early morning, this one looks like she might have a hint of green in her plumage. She opens her mouth soundlessly in his direction, long tail flicking from side to side and making snake-trail patterns in the sand of the enclosure.
Even from up here, Dean can see the tiny curved daggers of her teeth. Her tongue is purple, which… okay, that is some weird shit.
"Uh huh," he says, grinning. "I get it, you're a scary murder chicken. I'm real lucky I'm all the way up here. Mmhmm."
"Dean," a voice says from behind him, breaking the stillness of the morning. "Are you conversing with a velociraptor?"

ahhh this was perfect timing cause this fic was posted the day before I found this account???
Anyways - writing, great, world building great - character interactions - great - loved Dean in the first chap, and his interactions with Sam
Charlie, as always, is fantastic.
Loved Cas and is nerdy genuineness.
Loved the underlying plot - makes sense haha.
Would have loved this more fleshed out but I was also refreshing to have a lack of angst for this kinda story

They'd live in adjacent rooms in the Rookery, where all the baby dragons grew up. They’d fly together in the same Wing, taking down the demons that spilled from the Hellgates—the same demons that had killed Dean’s mother. And when Sam got old enough, he’d join them.
Dean believed Castiel when Castiel said he could hear Novak, his mother’s dragon, talking—even though that was impossible. And Castiel didn’t care that Winchester, Dean’s family dragon, had a bad wing.
It wasn't much of a plan, but it was their plan. It should have been so simple.
But falling hopelessly in love with his best friend had never been part of Castiel's plan.

Okay wowowowowowowowowow this was amazing it consumed me.
This has been open in my tabs for MONTHS and I almost deleted it but I’m so glad I Didn’t and decided to give it a go.
Omg
Okay so first - I fucking love dragons so automatically + 100000000 points haha
But the world building? The writing? The characterisation ? Omg I love how they wrote the characters. All so fricken good!!! Like - I can not say enough how well written this was
I loved Cas’ autistic ass and his pov and how he was written and everything. It was so genuine, in character and perfect.
Dean - loved him so much. His care, his cheekiness and arrogances (affectionate), and everything about him.
And their relationship? From friendship, to pining, to miscommunication and fights, love and first times, it was all so perfect. Like literally so in character and done so amazingly.
Like I can not state that enough.
I saw another bookmark say this was plot driven? Which like , yes - heavy and cool world building and massive incorporation of dragons, but like, in the scheme of things - there’s barely anything about like - trying to stop the gates, or revenge. It’s very much a sub plot to Cas and Deans relationship development haha.
This authors writing of world building and characters and over all was just so good (and even sneaked some fav canon lines in), and I just discovered they have over 100 works, so I guess I’ll have a busy reading list the next few days haha
But yeah. This was fucking so good.

Omg: edit cause I forgot to say - Cas’ Asexualness.
I felt so validated. So much of his thoughts I see myself. Like. Not really having any drive or want, but still being able to enjoy it? Idk. It just felt very real and well done.

"I'll pass," Kageyama says with the same kind of confidence he uses when he tells Hinata he'll get the toss to him. He looks straight at Hinata, and Hinata jerks and turns red, wondering if maybe Kageyama knew he was daydreaming about something as stupid as the way Kageyama talks to him during a game. But then Kageyama just points at him and says, "You'd better get in, too."
Hinata, stupid, naive, idiot that he is, grins wide and nods and says, "Yeah!"
He doesn't know what he's in for.

This was just phenomenal
Like Destiel pirates - it worked so good and hit so hardLike always - this authors writing style and world building, integration of canon into AUs and understanding of the characters was just out of this world
The care put into the story was amazing.
The development of their relationship - Castiel since 16, the boxing scene, the marooned island, just… everything.
It was hard seeing Castiel turn godstiel at the end for a bit and not listen to Dean, but he came to his sense.
Just an amazing and easy and awesome read. It was so immersive and the care the author puts in… it’s just incredible. The sorta of stuff you pay for
