Summary
Simon had lived a long and mostly painful life but one recurring thing was how he always survived. No matter what he made it through willingly or unwillingly. This time he was closing his eyes for good. That was what he was planning to do until he was dragged back to life and experimented on, now years later living a whole new life can he actually find a halfway point between his unforgivable past and regrettable future?
OR: Simon was experimented on by Roba and Shepard found him and decided to finish it. When you have an old chain smoker, a loud scott, an unlucky brit, a few cowboys who probably didn't pass the psych eval, and what might be an actual monster all in one task force, what's the worst that can happen? (everything i'd say)

Simon lived his life barley alive. His friend convinced him to try to become legends , be like Ghost. It was stupid to listen but he cared about his friend , it doesn’t matter when the world doesn’t care about them. After a mission goes shit he doesn’t have any choice but to reach out and get help , after all he’s got a ghost haunting him

Simon is V and Ghost is Johnny silverhand. there are going to be other cod characters in this I just don’t know where yet. This won’t be a copy of the story for cyberpunk but it will follow that story. There will be ocs but none that play a major role , just ocs replacing characters in cyberpunk I’ll try my best to replace cyberpunk chacaters with other cod characters but it’s kinda hard to find characters from cod that could fit. Ocs will probably just have a name no real personality and they won’t have any romantic junk with any main character.- Language:

Desperate, jerky, he nods against Jack’s shoulder. He just barely manages to choke out, “Please,” and, “I’m so sorry,” before Jack shushes him.
“Don’t be sorry,” Jack says on repeat. “Don’t you be sorry, it’s okay. It’s all going to be okay, I got you, brother, alright? Neither of us is going anywhere without each other, I can promise you that.”

When it first happened Robert had just moved on, it hadn't even registered really. It wasn't until after everything had gone down that he'd started getting a sick feeling in his chest. Shroud was dead, the team was actually, finally, functioning. Yet on a quiet summer day, months afterwards, he had his first thought about her hands appearing and disappearing under the hazy locker room lighting. God, the grip on his skin. It didn't matter. It didn't matter that he had to fight every urge in his body to avoid her. He'd refused her advances and she'd left, so why did he keep thinking about it?

Robert was no stranger to his scent glands being in some sort of pain thanks to how much he used suppressants while he was Mecha Man but now that he wasn’t on them, doctors orders, it was really killing him and that was saying something considering his pain tolerance.
