    Aziraphale’s lips parted, and the look of blatant shock on his angel’s face— visible for only the barest of moments before he steeled himself back to stony anger— made Crowley’s heart twist miserably. Never again, he vowed. Never again would Aziraphale go on thinking he ought to apologize for every fight they ever had, whereas Crowley’s temper was excused without exception. Aziraphale’s forgiveness would never be taken advantage of again. He’d sleep naked on consecrated grounds before he did it again.

    Crowley reflects on his relationship with Aziraphale, their last conversation, and how to make things right. He finds Aziraphale, ready to take accountability, and the two finally communicate as they take the next step how they always wanted to: Together.

    Aziraphale retourne au paradis en tant qu'Archange suprême tandis ce que Crowley reste sur terre. Il réalise alors un certain nombre de chose sur sa relation avec Aziraphale à travers les âges, et décide qu'il est temps d'assumer ses actes.

    Pourquoi ? Un décorticage complet de leur relation à travers les âges depuis le point de vue de Crowley avec une prise en compte complète et très juste de ses propres comportements problématiques. Il réalise entre autre la perception très genrée de leur dynamique... Une fic' qui mériterait d'être très largement partagée pour mieux faire comprendre ce que c'est que d'être dans la peau de l'ange dans le duo. Aziraphale Defenders UNITE ✊

    "Des sanctions extrêmes !" scande Beelzebub. "Tous ceux qui sont impliqués dans la disparition de Gabriel seront effacés du Livre de vie. Non seulement ils n'existeront plus, mais ils n'auront tout bonnement jamais existé."

    Et si la sanction était réellement appliquée après "les échecs" d'Aziraphale à devenir un archange suprême satisfaisant, que ce passerait-il ?

    Pourquoi ? Un récit alternatif absolument fantastique et epic sur comment se rappeler de l'inimaginable. Les intermissions - qui raconte leur passé au travers des âges - sont absolument attachantes et donne une légèreté aux événements du présent qui resteront une belle leçon sur le compromis, les ressources personnelles et la résilience.

    If you were to ask Aziraphale he would say that it's completely reasonable to love people who want to study and discuss books. And that feeling he gets when they come and ask him for help isn't Pride no. It just so happens that having lived for millennia means he's the best primary source on the planet. It would be selfish to not share his knowledge if you think about it.

    If you were to ask Crowley he would say that it may have more to do with the fact that that grad students can't afford to buy any of the books.

    Des étudiantexs squattent la librairie pour réviser après avoir découvert les mines d'or que sont les Ineffables.

    Pourquoi? Parce que c'est un baume de confort de les imaginer mettre à disposition tout ce qu'ils peuvent pour aider des étudiantexs différents mais pourtant très attachantexs.

    There was a forceful, anxious kick in Aziraphale’s chest. Oh, God, he was actually going to talk about it. Neither of them dared to for 6,000 years.

    Crowley tossed his head to the side. “I mean…The last few years, not really. And I know why we’ve had to pretend, of course. That’s obvious.” His eyes lowered to the floor. “Can’t ever forget about that, can I?” he said under his breath.

    After being punished in Heaven for being in love as angels, Aziraphale and Crowley spend the next 6,000 years pretending their relationship never happened.

    Une reprise du canon avec quelques ajustements mineurs afin d'aider la mise en place d'une modification majeure : quel serait le monde s'ils avaient été amants dès le départ ?

    Pourquoi ? Une reprise du canon passionnée et magnifiée par un pointe d'angst et de culpabilité mordantes. Probablement l'une des plus belles description de désir et de son cheminement que j'ai pu lire aussi (chapitre final, POV Aziraphale).
