Summary
It starts as a slow drumming in his chest at first, simple and insignificant. Easy to ignore in the middle of watching men die all around him, but eventually the slow drumming became a pummel of chimes and bells and thus impossible to ignore. He felt his heart burst from inside the concave of his chest and he saw him, Katsuki Bakugou taking out the sun with his yellow hair as he sunk down into the snow beside him. Shouto knew it was not death who was claiming him then, it was something far more frightening.

Every word that came out of Kiyoomi's mouth was a word stuck like a Dagger into my heart, the way I know none of the feelings Omi has for Atsu will ever be the way someone feels for me. And that though alone just has me hurting and begging for something so similar that I can feel loved the way I always wanted.
A master piece, truly so simple and short and at the same time so profound and moving, stand ovation for the author. 💕
