Jayce attends many galas and benefits for funding, and for connections to support and improve he and Viktor’s “baby”, Hextech. These events typically require a lot of mingling, and on occasion a lot of dancing! Jayce spends most of his time talking, sipping overly-bubbly light beverages that leave a tingle on the tongue, and a warmth in your cheeks, and… dancing.. far too much, even for his liking sometimes!
It just so happens that.. for this event in particular, Viktor offered to accompany him. It had been a while since his last, and he wanted to be there to support his partner! Secondarily, Heimerdinger insisted he take some time away from the lab, and away from the Hexcore, to be around people for a bit of a refresher in “being human” (it was said with love, and from a place of concern more than anything else). Regardless of rhyme or reason, Viktor would find himself in his least favorite environment – in a room full of drunken high-class socialites, schmoozing and hanging off of his probably equally drunk business partner, whom he.. has developed an alarming fondness for! Surely, nothing can go wrong here! -
