Summary
Capturing the look on his face was much easier in ink than it was in words. A lot shone in those red eyes and with every glance I braved I felt less and less sure what it was, but then as I was mixing my colours and watched the crimson pigment drip off my brush, it suddenly hit me.
Pain.
