Summary
So—just imagine, one day you’re sitting in your home, enjoying your day off of the usual stressful work you had, only for a mysterious asshole to appear and snatch you away from your home, your safe space.
Not only that, but he decided to put you in his sick version of a jail and start demeaning your entire existence in front of other strangers that, for some reason, are replicas of each other. Something something Spider-men and the Spider Society, the entire safety and security of the multiverse on your hands, and that you were the cause of everyone’s downfall.
Yeah, that’s your life now.

Summary
“Miguel-ji?” Pavitr calls uncertainly. Miguel crosses the distance between them in a few strides until he finally sees what stalled the kid—there’s someone standing in front of Miguel’s apartment door. The person is tall and lean, and Miguel almost drops his own bag of groceries when they turn.
“Gabriel?” Miguel asks incredulously. His baby brother rubs the back of his neck and shuffles awkwardly.

“I wanted to check on you! Keep you company during your arduous recovery!” Peter says cheerfully, hauling the paper grocery bags a little higher in his arms. Mayday burbles and kicks with glee from the baby-carrier strapped to his chest.

“Why is he so strong? What did he do?” Gwen calls. She comes to stand beside Miguel. The spider-person is yanking at the webs trapping his feet, muttering and sobbing, though its eyes are glued shut with a yellow goop that prevents tears from escaping.
“He didn’t do this.” Miguel says, but it sounds distant and tinny to his own ears.
