He was actually sharing a room with Kyle Broflovski – the man that used to be his best friend, his super best friend, his favorite person in the entire world… and the man who was now nothing more than a reminder of everything Stan hated about his life.

Nagmamahalan sila. Like talagang mahal nila ang isa't-isa. Kaso,
“It’s a fucking tragedy for us to love each other so much and just destroy each other. I’m not saying it’s all your fault, but God, it’s not right.”
“You act like you hate me,” Kyle says quietly.
Kyle says. “But Jesus Christ, this has destroyed me. The drinking, the fighting, the hostility between us. I hate it, I hate it so much, but I don’t know how to stop it.”
Valid yung nararamdaman ni Kyle na lumayo kay Stan kahit pa na mag-asawa sila. Kasi in the process ng samahan nila, they continue to destroy each other. Stan needs help, pero obvious naman sa naging pagsasama nila na hindi iyon kayang ibigay ni Kyle para sa kaniya (ie hindi siya at ang pagmamahal niya ang solusyon)
Tao lang din si Kyle. Mahal niya si Stan, kaso napapagod din siya. At sa naging pagsasama nila, sobrang naubos si Kyle sa pagsisikap na maging enough para kay Stan, at ending, purong sakit at hinagpis ang relasyon nila na dapat ay binubuo ng ligaya at pananabik.
Hindi niya iniwan si Stan kasi hindi nya na siya mahal, no. Iniwan niya si Stan para sa kanilang dalawa personally. For Kyle to find himself after the animosity that surfaced on their marriage, and for Stan to sort himself out.
Sobra akong agree sa message ng fic na ito: hindi ang samahan ninyo (pagmamahalan niyo) ang ultimately magsasalba sa'yo from Depression. It can help (a really big help) pero ang pinaka pagmumulan talaga ng pagbabago ay sarili mo. That's why ina-advice sa'tin na matuto tayong magmahal ng sarili natin bago tayo magmahal ng iba. Kasi when it comes to this, sobrang nagiging unfair 'di lang sa partner mo, kundi sa inyong dalawa rin mismo.
Pero tignan mo – niyakap ni Kyle si Stan sa kotse nya, hinawakan niya kamay ni Stan papuntang ospital, pinangakuang pupuntahan araw-araw para kamustahin. At yung the fact na nagmadali siya papunta kay Stan, nag-miss call at voice message, para lang masigurong okay siya.
Ang sarap nilang tignan magmahalan.
So glad ginawang open-ended (ambiguous) yung relationship nila sa huli. Pero one thing for sure, mahirap na journey kay Stan, pero pag-igihan niya lang, magtatagumpay siya for sure.
Salamat ng napakarami sa may akda. Mamahinga kayo ng payapa.
