Will uses his magic to assist the FBI with missing persons/serial killers, as one of the only people who can navigate to and from the aether, where the Fey live, and communicate with them directly. When Abigail Hobbs is abducted by her father as the pressure grew on the Shrike, Will is enlisted to try and find her. Once in the aether, because of the dark nature of Hobbs, he is directed towards a creature he has never met before. Hannibal is charming, and dangerous, as most Fey are. Will has had years to hone the art of making deals with his kind, but he’s about to learn that Hannibal is in a league all his own.

A few years later, Hannibal escapes from prison. Despite the risk, the first thing he does is go after his Mongoose. Give me obsessive, possessive, creepy as hell Hannibal who still wants Will for his own.
