For, you see, in the underworld, where the sunlight does not usually reach, the most fantastic and bizarre creatures live hidden. Among us.Mostly known as monsters and beasts, these have been with us since ancient times, being impregnated in our most visceral instincts as predators par excellence.
Of claws instead of hands. Of fur instead of skin. Of gills instead of nose.All are kept secret from everyone... everyone except the hunters.
Humans with the gifts of seeing the impossible, they are trained for decades to serve as executioners and judges, serving as a barrier between the natural and the supernatural to keep the peace.

In some stories, Ex is given a gentle, if winding, path towards redemption, patchwork but whole.
In another, the universe is less kind.

The void, the space between dimensions… it’s a place for the excess to be cast away. Spamming hacks, glitchy monstrosities, old worlds – all are discarded to the same space between spaces. After all, the code and silent mechanisms behind a server are heavy, and anything sent to the void is disintegrated, discarded, and allowing that energy to go towards other aspects.
The first thing to go in the technological aether is the memory, then the hardware. The mind, then the body.
