Summary
"You and me. Six weeks. No strings. Just fucking," Steve says, and it's not a question. He's already decided. Eddie just needs to get on board. This is happening.
"You've lost your goddamn mind," Eddie says, shaking his head as his voice gets too high, shrill.

Looking down, he's in clothes he doesn't recognize.
Except, he does.
And Steve figures it out before his hands pull off the bandana and tangle in long, matted hair.
He's Eddie.
Somehow.

Summary
The light flips on, and there's a loud shriek that makes Eddie jump and hit his head on a shelf in the freezer.
"What are you doing here?!" Steve Harrington demands, brandishing an ice cream scoop like it's a weapon.
In a sailor suit.
Goofy hat, tall socks. A bow around his neck that Eddie has a brief flash of what it might be like to yank on. Just a little.
Or: Somebody's gotta deliver the ice cream to Scoops Ahoy, and that somebody is Eddie.

Summary
Nancy is holding a fish bowl, and she shakes it at them with a grin when they walk in the front door. Eddie and Steve both dig into their pockets, and toss in their car keys in, as demanded.
It was weird to arrive separately, and since everybody else did the exact same thing, the cul-de-sac is filled with more cars tonight than this party is indicative of, with every half of each couple in their own car.
She walks away, and Eddie looks at Steve, "You sure about this?"
Steve runs his hand along Eddie's shoulders, squeezing, "It's just sex. But if you've changed your mind, we can slip away."

Summary
In 1998, 72.5 million passengers passed through Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
One of them was Steve Harrington. In fact, a lot of them were Steve Harrington. Every Friday, just like clockwork, he strides off flight 303 from JFK to ORD, in his suit and tie, phone plastered to his ear.
Somewhere else in Chicago, Eddie Munson's life is pretty good. He lives with his best friend. He works nights at a bar he loves. No, it's not what he'd imagined his life was gonna be like at thirty-two, because Steve isn't here, and there was a time he couldn't ever imagine living his life without him.
But he has, and it's fine, everything's fine. Honest.
He's accepted it. Fortunately, the universe, and Gareth, have not.
After a chance sighting in that busy airport, Eddie has the chance to try and reconnect with Steve after nearly a decade apart.

Eddie is that friend. And he tried not to get involved, but he did. Now, five years later, Eddie doesn't know it yet, but he's about to run into Steve and face the crush he had been nursing for five years, even though he hadn't talked to Steve since that day. Even though Steve is now a famous NHL player.
What could go wrong?

Summary
When Steve Harrington finds Eddie Munson on the side of the road, he doesn't know what to think. He's gonna help the guy, obviously, no matter how much Eddie hates him. He's just surprised to learn Eddie doesn't seem to remember him and even more surprised when he's pleased to know he might get a second chance at being friends with Eddie.
And maybe he'll get a first chance at being something else.
OR; Eddie can't remember shit and Steve invites him over during a snowstorm. What can go wrong?

Summary
With Steve, there is no middle ground, only extremes. No nuanced bullshit, no lukewarm maybes or undefined in-betweens.
He knows what he wants and whoever wants him has to choose either one or the other – mean or nice, rough or gentle, to use or be used; they can never have both.
Because both means uncertainty. Means blurred lines and the possibility of getting lost in muddy waters.
Both means that sex isn’t just that, because if the rules become negotiable, if there’s a margin for something else to evolve, it leaves room for feelings to sprout uncontrolled like weeds in an overgrown garden.
And that is something he’s not willing to risk.

“Move over,”
Eddie was winded by a knee to the chest.
“Sorry,” came the mumbled apology. “Move,”
“No!” Eddie coughed, pulling out his earplugs. “Get the fuck out of here,”
“Huh?” was the reply. “I was told I could crash here and now you’re telling me I can’t?”
Eddie fended off another leg as it tried to swing onto the mattress.
“I’m not saying no,” he said, having learned long enough ago that it was easier to just let them stay here instead of arguing about it. He had work in a few hours; he needed to get back to sleep. “Go over to that side,”
“Why does it matter, just let me in,”
“Dude this is my side,” said Eddie. “Go the fuck over there,”
Five times Steve spends a Saturday night with Eddie while he's drunk, and one time he's completely sober

Summary
Known as the ‘Slick Plug’, it is a phenomenon that occurs when an Omega skips their heats through longterm sustained use of blockers, and unspent slick builds up in the body.
Steve Harrington found this out the hard way, and he's about to find out what he needs to do to get it out.

It doesn’t take long for her to find what she thinks is a good match. But Wayne Munson, Viscount Hawkshill, surprises both Harringtons when he reveals he was not looking for a bride for himself, but for his nephew and heir, Edward.
But Eddie is prickly when his uncle returns home, having received the letter he sent ahead, loudly yelling that he intends to find a mate on his own… And ruining any chance to make a good first impression on the loveliest omega he’s ever seen.

“Sorry if you got a lot of shit about it. At school. From- you know.”
Eddie stares at him. “From… your basketball lackeys?”
“Sure. Yeah.”
Is this… is Harrington winding him up?
“Are you winding me up?”
“What? No. No!”
“Pardon my hesitance,” Eddie says, narrowing his eyes, “this is just- kind of unexpected. And by that, I mean- a bit of a mind fuck.”
Steve clears his throat, looks down at his shoes.
Eddie kind of dances from side to side, ducks down to recapture Steve's gaze. “And by that- I mean- cereal shopping with Steve ‘the hair’ Harrington while he apologises on behalf of high school jocks everywhere.”

Gareth's unintentional matchmaking skills lead Eddie to three new discoveries:
1. Steve Harrington is very bad at math
2. Steve Harrington is very fucking weird
3. Steve Harrington is dangerously easy to fall in love with -

Summary
Because once a week, he had the house entirely to himself from nine am to eight at night while he had his usual day off at the library and Robin was in class all day (and Eddie was on tour). He didn’t need the run of it, of course, because Robin would actually kill him if she found out he was engaging in sex acts in the kitchen — but it was nice to know he could be, like, loud and shift if he needed to.
(That, actually, might have been the only other thing Robin judged him for, but, in his defense, he grew up alone in a big ass house — he never really had to learn to be quiet.)
So he took advantage of it, and put on some pretty clothes and imagined some guy railing him in them.
In which Steve has a fantasy. Couple of 'em, in fact.

Summary
Indeed, the man would sometimes debrief Steve after! A glint in his eye, merry, as he asked if he thought Dr Owens or his five thousand pounds a year was more handsome, and Steve had all but choked upon his reply that Dr Owens was indeed handsome, regardless of his income!
“Hmm,” Sir Hopper had intoned that evening, teeth around his cigarillo as he puffed the heady scent of tobacco into the air. “I myself find the pounds comely rather than my dear friend (who himself would be the first to say it, so do not make such a face, young sir), but to each their own. Either way, he’s much too old for you.”
“I do not find myself concerned overmuch with such things,” Steve had tried to demure, for he had not wished to seem ungrateful for what introductions into the society of Devonshire and its surrounds Sir Hopper did offer.
Sir Hopper had snorted, ungainly in his amusement, and tapped his temple. He’d said, “I shall keep that in mind, then. Still: six and thirty years between you is too much. Five and ten, however, is much more agreeable to my delicate sensibilities. What say you to that?”
Or: an Omegaverse Regency AU inspired by Sense and Sensibility.

The problem was this—
Despite Steve's best efforts, after the dust had settled and Vecna was gone and Eddie was released from the hospital, the two of them had never really gotten along.
Dustin knew that, and he’d assured Steve that he would make it to the lake house well before Eddie to play buffer for their bi-annual get together.
That little shit had promised—on his mother!
Poor Claudia. She never stood a chance.

Prompts: knees, spit
Steve comes up with a plan to finally bag his man after months—nay—years of he and Eddie circling each other and playing the most frustrating game of cat and mouse imaginable where neither wants to be the first to break.
Naturally, that plan involves a mechanical bull, alcohol, and the overconfidence of an ex-jock.
