Rumi didn’t mean to dethrone the gorgeous top student and beat the social star athlete in her first week. She just wanted to keep her head down, pass her classes, and avoid weird social dynamics. Too bad Mira’s and Zoey’s curiosity wasn't a thing she could dodge forever. Now, there are awkward stares, accidental sparring matches, competitive flirting (that none of them admit is flirting), and one growing problem:

Bobby held up a picture of Zoey and Mira, rarely candid as they allowed themselves to be in public. Rumi could even recognise the bench they were sitting on. Zoey was showing Mira something on her phone—probably one of her weird cat memes—and Mira had her head thrown back, her mouth open in that unflattering laugh she only let out when she was truly amused. Bobby swiped through to another photo, and Mira was still laughing. But Zoey had stopped looking at her phone screen, and was instead gazing at Mira with a soft smile on her face, expression completely besotted.
Something about the sight made a lump gather at the back of Rumi's throat.
When a photo of Zoey and Mira goes viral and the idea of them as a couple becomes more popular than ever, Bobby suggests they fake-date to keep Huntrix ratings up. Rumi doesn't expect to have as many emotions about it as she does.

Summary
Gwi-Ma was gone, a new Honmoon was created, and Zoey and Mira knew about her patterns. They knew about her, and they didn’t seem to hate her anymore, and there was no impending doom currently on her horizon. Which meant she would actually have to talk to the girls, and there were things that, at least for now, couldn’t be said.

Knowing that she would die when they turned the Honmoon golden, Rumi didn’t see why she had to put Zoey and Mira through the pain of losing their omega. So she took the pills Celine gave her, and went to the appointments, and convinced the world she was a beta. She kept her distance from the alphas, even when her body called for their presence and her soul called for their love.
But now, all secrets must come to light. That is, if Rumi can learn to trust the girls she loves with her broken, tattered heart.

Mira’s thumb stilled on the screen. She looked up, slow. “…What?”
Zoey’s hands twisted in her lap. “Like—not open relationships. Just… not just one person. Have you ever thought about being with more than one person and it still being okay?”
She wasn’t looking at Mira. Her voice was tight, like it hurt to speak. Mira watched her with a furrowed brow, still quiet.
“I feel so guilty all the time. Because I love you, Mira. I love you, and this doesn’t change that, but I see her and I want to make her smile and I want her to hold my hand and I think she’s beautiful and weird and sweet and I—”
She finally looked up, tears shining in her eyes.
“I think I ruined us. And I’m so sorry.”
Mira just stared at her. Wide-eyed. Silent.
Zoey’s heart dropped. “Say something.”
Mira exhaled like she’d been holding her breath for a month.
Then she visibly deflated—shoulders dropping, head tilting back against the wall—and let out a quiet, choked laugh.

Summary
The Honmoon chooses two Hunters from every generation to fulfill their duty of keeping demons at bay and striving to create the Golden Honmoon. It is every Hunter’s ultimate goal to keep demonkind from the world permanently. Mira and Zoey are training under Celine as the duo Hunters of the Honmoon. They fell into the routine easily enough, though there is something that bothers them.
There’s someone else in the house with them. They never have to buy groceries, there’s another set of shoes by the door, and the smell of cooking can occasionally be smelled from behind the door separating them from the other side of the mansion. Celine is tight-lipped about their mysterious houseguest and, for the most part, Mira and Zoey ignore it.
Until they see a lilac-haired woman in the market one day. A lilac-haired woman with demonic patterns.
That one encounter sets into motion a new friendship and defines their unique group, the Honmoon trio who will truly fix the world. Mira and Zoey aren’t Huntrix without their demonic center leading the charge against Gwi-ma’s forces.

Summary
Mira marches like she’s on a mission, slow and methodical until she has Rumi’s back against the mirror wall.
Their height difference is noticeable now, and Rumi has to crane her neck back to look Mira square in the eye. She almost drowns in those simmering pools of dark black, a whimper twisting on her lips before it dives headfirst.
“Did you know… that you’re so damn pretty in these sleeveless shirts?” Mira’s voice is low and seductive, a hint of a growl present as she traces a fingertip along Rumi’s shoulder. The touch is warm, so warm, and it feels like pure electricity as Mira trails that finger along her collar, brushing up and down the bare skin of her neck before it settles right on her sternum. Mira taps her chest lightly but it might as well have felt like a blow of a hammer on her skin. She craves the touch of it, and the thought makes Rumi flush, unfamiliar with asking for such physical affection.
Rumi’s voice quivers as she answers, “R-Really…?”

Summary
Rumi is marked, scarred by the past. She doesn't deserve happiness, she's a demon after all. Even if she saved the world. She's still a mistake. Still something that shouldn't have been born, let alone alive. Though Mira and Zoey heavily disagree with that.
Mira is angry. Oh so fucking angry. At her parents. At Celine. At the bad demons who caused all this. At herself. But not Rumi or Zoey. Never At Rumi or Zoey.
Zoey's afraid of being too much of being alone again. So maybe she's too clingy, or too fast for people. She's kind, and funny and always so helpful even when it hurts. Mira and Rumi love her the way she is, never thinking shes too much.

Everyone has scars. Even if they aren't all visible. You just need to find those who will care for you and love everything about you.
