Summary
Maybe the worst part of having to share your body with another sentient and (allegedly) intelligent mind, she’d discovered, is that you share everything, even emotions. The worst thing about having Johnny Silverhand specifically in your mind is that the fucker never knows exactly what emotions he’s feeling, and usually denies feeling anything at all.
Johnny has never been one to shy away from naming the elephant in the room, as much as V would prefer he didn’t. After all, she is forced to sort through the sordid details of his stupidly complex emotions without complaint, so the least he can do is not point out that she’s a sexual being just to piss her off.

Summary
Bugs had never bothered Jean much—hell, it’d never occurred to him to even notice their presence. Moths were expected companions this time of night and that’s as much thought as he gave them.
Harry, though.

Jean has a role to play. If only he could destroy the parts of himself that made that difficult.

Summary
The crew turned to stare as Wilford’s sunburned head and stupid little face appeared over the edge of ship and watched, confused, as he stood confidently onto the deck, his men following behind him.
Please, Izzy thinks, not here. Not now. The crew already disrespect me enough, as if I weren’t enough as is.
But Ed was already swaggering over, though he had a tenseness to his face, as Bonnet fluttered around behind him. For a moment, Izzy hoped Ed might physically throw Wilford off the ship, then silently cursed himself. Ed knows nothing of Wilford—the two were on different ships, after all—something Izzy had deliberately made sure was the case. Besides, what reason would Ed have to protect a traitor like Izzy?
———
Izzy runs into some old crew-mates who are desperate to spill Izzy’s secrets, and the crew of The Revenge comes together for some good old fashioned violence against bigoted bullies.

Summary
Dorian grasps his arm, sucking in desperate lungfuls of air, and while Varric’s relieved to know he’s okay, that means Hawke wasn’t behind him. She’s not here, not where he thought she was. And then the reality of what that might mean crashes into him, and he goes cold all over.
Just like Hawke, he thinks, and tries to stay calm, —

As Varric waits to see whether Hawke will exit the Fade, the only thing he can do is remember every time he failed to do right by her. -

Summary
Fills for the prompts in the Pacific Rim Bingo Challenge for 2021.
Trope 1 (Meet Ugly): Newt's totally excited to meet his pen pal for the first time. Sure, he just made a very public fool of himself and he's very full of alcohol (not drunk though!) but he's convinced this night can still be salvaged.
Trope 2 (Shatterdome Food Sucks): Hermann is good at finding the patterns in the world and creating ways to understand them. It's just that, sometimes, there's evidence that doesn't match the pattern.
Trope 3 (First Times): The air conditioning is broken in the Shatterdome, and Hermann and Newt have to share a bed! You know what that means! That's right, it's time to confront our fears of intimacy and inadequacy. This chapter do be explicit though.
Trope 4 (Mistaken Identity): The thing about waiting on the cusp of potentially bad news is that it is a literal waking nightmare.
Trope 5 (Kaiju Black Market): Mako just wants to sort her problems out by herself, and protect her family. Is that too much to ask?

Summary
“Dr Geiszler, you’re not an epidemiologist either!” Hermann had snapped back, face all pink, and he slammed his sandwich onto his tray.
“Pip pip Mako,” Newt continued, ignoring everything Hermann had said and cutting him off, “Time to make the world’s worst cup of tea and maths my way into an incorrect conclusion!!”
That conversation had quickly turned into a full argument, delightfully petty and unstoppable even by Mako’s intervention, ending only with their expulsion from the mess by some severely underpaid food service workers. They did not speak at all for three days until Newt had discovered a packet of coveted sour gummy worms near his newest sample cases, and Hermann had found linzer cookies on one of his many CRTs.
So, safe to say, Newt’s a bit of an acknowledged expert about Hanahaki.
Newt's got a handle on all the various things going on his life. Being THE Kaiju expert? Check. Being one of two K-Scientists left? Check. The intense pressure to save the world? Check. Interpersonal relationships? Check. So it really doesn't make any sense that he's contracted the stupid flower disease, because it just doesn't fit with the facts of his life at all. No, seriously.
