Summary
The sounds are muffled, it feels like the only thing in focus is Merlin. Just Merlin. Merlin, whose hair is always a mess, and Merlin who always finds a way to screw up all he does. But that’s not the truth, is it? Merlin is one of the most loyal men he has ever met. Arthur can’t navigate in these overwhelming emotions any longer, he’s stuck in the blue of Merlin’s eyes and the more he stares the bigger it seems they get.
As Arthur discovers his own existence once more, he breathes in sharply as he realizes he has forgotten to breathe at all. The muffled sounds around him clear up and he hears the mocking laughter from beside him, turning to find Galan’s knowing look.
“Shut up”
“I didn’t say anything,” Galan smiles, “and perhaps that says more than I ever could.”
Arthur shakes his head in denial, it’s almost amusing, laughable even, to think he’s been fancying his servant for this long. It sends a chill down Arthur’s spine as he considers possibly going as far as admitting he’s in love with him, it very well can’t even be possible.AKA. Sir Galan of Gawant, guest at the banquet and friend of the newly crowned king Arthur Pendragon, bullies Arthur into making a move on his servant.
