“What happened.”
“My apologies, Sensei!” Iida bowed his head as if in shame. “I did not knock before entering, and interrupted your conversation with your colleague.” Colleague? Aizawa would have snorted if it weren’t for the unease this situation caused. His students really were clueless sometimes. “But I didn’t have time, Sensei, something’s wrong with Midoriya!”

He caresses his face, calls his name, presses lips to scalding cheeks, anything to get him to wake, to tell him what's wrong. Finally, the child whimpers before his eyes flutter open. He looks lost, as if he doesn’t recognize his own blood and it makes Romulus’ heart clench in fear before Felix’s gaze finally focuses on his own. When it does, Romulus watches heartbroken as his child's eyes fill with tears before he buries his face into the cloth of his tunic.
”Tata,” He sobs, “it hurts.”
Romulus rocks him gently, trying not to let his panic bleed into his voice. “What hurts, tell me. Tell me so I can make it better.”
But Felix doesn't answer, instead, his eyes roll back and he goes limp once more.
