Summary
This is the outline of a fic I had an idea for, but I do not have the skill to pull this off and I doubt I could do it justice if I tried. So I'm posting what's been eating at my noggin in a hope that someone much more talented and smart is inspired by this idea. Even if it doesn't inspire them to write something along what I've outlined, if this gives someone an idea for any other project their working on, I'll be happy :)

The first time Robin noticed it, Steve was helping a customer at Family Video.
He was in the middle of a sentence, i the middle of a transaction behind the register when his eyes drifted up towards the ceiling and his voice trailed off. His jaw shifted around and he chewed on his tongue.
It was like he was completely vacant.
It lasted a few seconds, and he snapped back in, finishing his sentence and continuing the transaction like nothing happened.-
