As far as Steve Rogers was concerned, the big event was that some stunt double version of himself just told him Bucky was alive before using a mind controlling scepter on him.Except that he didn't think this was what mind control felt like... Because he didn't feel any different. He just felt warm where it had touched him, and somewhere in his head this one thought kept repeating on an endless loop.
