Summary
On a cold winter midnight, Jun Wu and Mei Nianqing are alone in the small, dark chamber under Mount Tonglu.
Jun Wu finds it to be the perfect atmosphere to dive into slumber. Unfortunately, perhaps because he has committed too many sins in one life, he is forced to remain awake by Mei Nianqing's sniffling and sobbing. Apparently, Mei Nianqing found it to be the perfect atmosphere to intoxicate himself with liquor.
Mei Nianqing asks Jun Wu to punish him for a sin which can not be undone. Jun Wu almost obliges, his hands remember how.
