Midoriya already knew he was different from most.
A lot of media portrayed different as being a good thing, but a lot of the time, they never outlined how hellish it could be. How someone could be the wrong type of different.
Like him: Quirkless, a male omega, a prime omega, more so, and on the heavier side of chubby. He was the embodiment of ‘whatever can go wrong will go wrong’.
So much so that he’s being fired from his job of being an assistant to a pro hero. Or- heroes…
Heroes that, actually don’t want to leave him alone once they’ve met him. But Midoriya learned his lesson, and he wants no part in whatever their game is.

No matter how many layers he put on in the morning, he still shivered like it was freezing outside. The shivers never seemed to leave. He was tired and cold and just wanted to get home to his bed and sleep.
